Paulette Crawford

Paulette Crawford, Ed. D., currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Houston ISD, where responsibilities include overseeing the high school mathematics department and coordinating summer school programs, with significant accomplishments such as hiring and managing over 50 teachers during the pandemic. With extensive experience in curriculum development and instructional design, Paulette has held various educational roles including Education Specialist at both Tietronix Software, Inc. and NASA, where project management and educator professional development were key focus areas. Previous teaching positions at Pasadena Independent School District and Galena Park ISD involved significantly improving state test passing rates for at-risk students. Paulette holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on STEM from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, a Master of Education from the University of St. Thomas, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University.
