Diego Marines-Copado

Diego Marines-Copado serves as the Chief of Surgery at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital since January 2024 and has been a Colon and Rectal Surgeon at Houston Methodist since August 2015. Prior experience includes a Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship at UMDNJ from July 2014 to June 2015, a Surgery Residency at The Methodist Hospital from July 2009 to June 2014, and a Research Fellowship at Colorectal Surgical Associates from July 2008 to June 2009. Diego is currently pursuing a Physician Leadership Development program at Rice Business, complementing a Doctor of Medicine degree obtained from Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas between 2001 and 2008.
