Kristin Finney

Kristin Finney is the current Vice President of Human Resources at the Houston Zoo. Prior to their current position, Ms. Finney served as the Executive HR Director at Achilles Group from October 2011 to August 2016. In this role, they were responsible for directing executive human resources functions for a large portfolio of diverse client companies while expanding capabilities to meet financial, operational, and strategic goals.

Ms. Finney began their career in 2000 as an HR Manager at Texas United Management Corporation. In August 2008, they joined Nike as an Operations Manager. In this role, they led operational, human resources, financial, and sales activities across a multi-million dollar business unit through the creation and execution of successful business, marketing, staffing, training, and sales plans that exceeded net revenue goals.

Kristin Finney received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock/University of Phoenix.

Kristin Finney reports to Lee Ehmke, CEO. They are on a team with Sheryl Kolasinski - COO, Peter Riger - VP, Conservation & Education, and Lisa Marie Avendano - VP, Animal Operations.
