Sanjay Kalavar

Sanjay Kalavar is a Senior Partner of global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company and Managing Partner for the Houston Office. He leads the firm’s Oil & Gas Practice in the Americas and focuses on helping energy operators and investors evaluate, acquire, improve, and exit assets. Sanjay began his career with McKinsey in 1997 but during a several-year leave of absence, he worked as a private equity investor at General Atlantic Partners. He also worked in Peru for Technoserve, a not-for-profit firm focused on building agricultural businesses in the developing world. Sanjay has a degree in economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
