Kelvin Young

Kelvin Young is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience and product design. As the Director of Design for Industry Solutions at Houzz since June 2015, Kelvin leads design initiatives aimed at empowering home remodeling and design professionals through innovative marketing and business software solutions. Previous roles include Senior Manager of UX & Design at Yahoo!, where Kelvin was the design lead for both the desktop and mobile versions of the Yahoo Homepage, and as Senior User Experience Designer at Amazon Instant Video, focusing on the Kindle Fire and Fire Phone. Kelvin's earlier experience includes senior UX design roles at Schematic and CRISP | brand agency, catering to notable clients such as Sony Ericsson and Time Warner Cable. Education includes a Master of Fine Arts in Media Design from ArtCenter College of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts from UC Irvine.
