Austin Ellert

Austin Ellert has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Austin started their career at Hovde Group in 2016 as an Investment Banking Analyst, where they provided a full-service suite of investment banking, capital markets, and financial advisory services focused exclusively on the financial services industry. Austin then worked their way up to become an Investment Banking Associate and later a Senior Associate at the same company. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President at Hovde Group. Prior to joining Hovde Group, Austin worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Hovde Group and as an Accountant at Meyer Dunlap.

Austin Ellert received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Southern Methodist University from 2012 to 2016. During the same period, they also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance, General from the Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business. Prior to their college education, they attended Naples High School from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained certifications including Investment Banking Representative and Uniform Securities Agent State Law from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in September 2016.
