Jan van Dalen

Jan van Dalen has a strong background in information technology and application development. Jan has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including positions at Hoveround Corporation, Winged Keel Group, Mark Ross & Co., and Wolper Ross & Co.

At Hoveround Corporation, Jan served as the Director of Information Technology, leading a team of professionals and managing a multi-million operational and capex budget. Jan achieved a high level of staff loyalty and retention within the technical team. Jan also served as the Director of Application Development and Architecture, where they were responsible for building next-generation infrastructure and migrating current development projects.

During their time at Winged Keel Group, Jan served as the Director of Application Development, focusing on implementing consumer-centric applications and developing platforms using .Net C#, Clarion, and SQL Server.

At Mark Ross & Co., Jan held the positions of Director of Technology and Principal Architect, as well as Manager of Application Development. Jan was responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software projects and managing geographically distributed project teams.

Jan's early experience includes working as a Senior Systems Analyst at Wolper Ross & Co., where they developed specifications for acquisition and selection of 4th Generation Language and relational database management systems. Jan also provided coordination for database projects across multiple office locations.

Jan van Dalen attended St. Thomas University from 1979 to 1984, during which they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer and Information Science with a minor in Business Administration. Jan later pursued a Master's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) at St. Thomas University from 1985 to 1986, completing 27 credits in this field of study.
