Filipe Gaspar

Filipe Gaspar has a broad range of work experience. Filipe began their career as a Production and RD Engineer at Hovione in February 2003 and held this role until January 2006. Filipe then became the Director of Particle Design (R&D) at Hovione from January 2006 to December 2011. In January 2012, they took on the role of Director of Drug Product Technologies at Hovione, responsible for selecting and implementing new particle engineering technologies. From August 2013 to November 2014, they served as the Senior Director of Particle Engineering Services at Hovione. Filipe then became the Vice President of R&D at Hovione in November 2014, and held this position until November 2019. From November 2019 to July 2022, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Hovione. As of July 2022, they are currently working as the Vice President of Technology Intensification at Hovione. Prior to working at Hovione, Filipe Gaspar worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham from 1999 to 2002.

Filipe Gaspar earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham from 1996 to 2002.
