Miguel Matos

Miguel Pires de Matos is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in production management and facility operations. Currently serving as Senior Production Manager at Hovione since November 2016, Miguel has played a pivotal role in the design and construction of a Greenfield Drug Product facility and the expansion of legacy facilities. Previous roles at Bluepharma included Head of Manufacture, where Miguel managed operations and led audit activities for a generic drug manufacturing plant, as well as serving as a Contract Manufacturing Liaison and Pharmaceutical Development Scientist. Miguel holds a Master of Science Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology and has furthered education in law and economics related to health and medicines, along with courses in management and regulatory affairs.
