Nuno Matos began their work experience in 2004 as a QC Technician at Hovione. Nuno then took on roles as an Analytical Development Chemist, a Chemist (PAT), and a PAT Specialist, where they implemented and developed several process analytical technologies. In 2015, Nuno became the Head of Continuous Manufacturing, R&D, and later became the Head of Quality Continuous Manufacturing. Currently, they serve as the Director of Quality System Management at Hovione, overseeing the application of the quality system in operations and contributing to initiatives for Continuous Manufacturing, Quality Risk Management, and Digital Transformation. Additionally, Nuno was an Expert Committee Member for Chemical Analysis at US Pharmacopeia. Prior to their professional experiences, they were a Post Grad Student at the Biological Systems Engineering Lab and a Trainee at STAB.
Nuno Matos obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico from 1998 to 2003. In 2015, they completed the Effective Leadership Program at Nova School of Business and Economics.
