Alisa Bhachu

Global Women Leaders Fellowship Awardee at How Women Lead

Alisa Bhachu is an accomplished leader in the field of refugee advocacy and women's leadership. Currently, Alisa serves as the Executive Director of the Chicago Refugee Coalition and has held roles as Co-Founder and President of Refugee Can Be and the Chicago Refugee Coalition. Alisa has also worked as a Senior Campaigner for Refugees at Amnesty International and has been recognized as a Global Women Leaders Fellowship Awardee by How Women Lead. Alisa's academic background includes a Professional Certification in Forced Migration Studies from Northwestern University's Buffett Center for Forced Migration Studies Summer Institute and a brief attendance at the University of Oxford in 2017.
