Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is an experienced engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University. Andrew has worked at Howa USA Holdings, Inc. since May 2016, progressing from Engineer to Lead Engineer, and has significant experience in managing the release process for brake system components. Previous roles include Design Engineer at Federal Mogul and Senior Product Development Engineer at Navistar Inc., where Andrew contributed to product development using advanced engineering tools such as Unigraphics/NX. Earlier work experience includes positions as a Cart Attendant/Cook at Prairieview Golf Course and a Detailer at Rockford Drop Forge, where Andrew developed facility layouts using AutoCAD.
