Sean Rizer

Sean Rizer, CPA has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2006, they served as a summer intern at Horizon Bank, followed by another summer internship at BKD, LLP in 2007. Sean then joined BKD, LLP as a staff auditor in 2008. From 2007 to 2015, Sean also served as the Treasurer for the Indiana Chapter of the Tourette Syndrome Association, where they were responsible for financial statements preparation and day-to-day accounting tasks. In 2009, they joined Somerset CPAs, P.C., where they worked as a Senior Manager and specialized in financial statement assurance, transaction consulting, and operational consulting in the construction industry. Sean joined Howard Companies in 2018 as the Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, they were a Tull Visiting Professor at Franklin College from 2017 to 2018.

Sean Rizer, CPA has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree in Accounting & Finance from Valparaiso University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they hold several certifications, including a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from Illinois and Indiana. Sean also obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant certification from the AICPA.
