Abbi Pettinati

Abbi Pettinati is an accomplished Climate Action Coordinator with the Howard County Government since December 2022 and a dedicated Pet Sitter for Happy Paws since December 2019. Abbi served as President of Girls on Top of the World from May 2021 to May 2022, leading an all-women nonprofit focused on community service in Salisbury, MD. Abbi also held the position of SGA Director of Sustainability at Salisbury University, where various sustainability initiatives, including Recycle Madness and Earth Week, were organized. Additionally, Abbi worked as an Environmental Economics Supplemental Instructor and interned at the U.S. House of Representatives and Citizens' Climate Lobby, contributing to climate activism efforts. Abbi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Political Science from Salisbury University, following graduation from Urbana High School in 2018.
