Jeff Bronow

Jeff Bronow has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jeff started their career as an Engineering Intern at the Swedish National Telephone Company, where they gained experience troubleshooting telecommunication interference problems. Jeff then worked as a Network Analyst in the UCSB Electrical Engineering Department, where they designed and implemented computer network systems. Jeff also worked as a Civil Engineer for the City of Santa Barbara, designing parking lots and sewage disposal systems. Furthermore, they taught math, physics, and computer science as a Peace Corps volunteer in Fiji Islands and later as a high school teacher at Highland Hall Waldorf School. Jeff furthered their teaching career at the Natelson Company, where they developed economic and financial reports for private and public sector clients. Finally, Jeff currently holds the position of Chief, Division of Research, in the Department of Planning and Zoning at the Howard County Government.

Jeff Bronow received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Computer Engineering and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara in 1988. Jeff also obtained a Certificate in Global Peace and Security Studies from UC Santa Barbara during the same period. Later, in 1994, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Urban Planning with Magna Cum Laude honors from the University of Southern California.
