Dewanna Planter

Dewanna Planter has a diverse work experience timeline. Dewanna started their career as a Senior Paralegal at Bayer & Kaufman LLP and worked there from March 1999 to September 2005. Following that, they served as the Community Services Team (Pro Bono) Administrator at Holland & Knight LLP from September 2005 to April 2009. Dewanna then joined McKinney & Associates as a General Manager from May 2009 to September 2010. Subsequently, they worked at the Federal Public Defender Office, District of Maryland as an Operations Administrator from September 2010 to February 2014. Most recently, Dewanna Planter has been associated with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where they began as the Manager of Legal Operations in February 2014 and was promoted to the Director of Legal Operations in October 2019.
