Kat Staargaard Jordan

Kat Staargaard Jordan's work experience begins in 2011 as a Recruiting Manager at Hire Velocity. In this role, they supported the Recruiting Professionals division and was considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in sourcing difficult-to-find candidates within tight timelines. Kat also held positions as a Senior Recruiting Associate and Recruiter during their time at the company.

In 2015, Kat Staargaard Jordan moved on to Navigant, where they worked as a Manager of Talent Acquisition. Kat focused on hiring for the Global Investigations and Compliance team, including roles in Anti-Money Laundering, Data Analytics and Systems Integration, and Investigations.

Since 2018, Kat Staargaard Jordan has been with Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) as a Manager of Recruiting Operations and Recruiting Systems Lead. Kat'sresponsibilities include overseeing recruiting operations, optimizing processes, working with internal stakeholders, and developing technology solutions. Kat also manages vendor relationships and measures the ROI of partnerships.

Kat Staargaard Jordan, CDR, holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Penn State University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications including Certified Diversity Recruiter from AIRS, Textio Interrupting Bias in Hiring Certification from Textio, and Korn Ferry Interview Architect from Korn Ferry.
