Gulzar Ahmed

Gulzar Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gulzar started their career at Zenith as an Accounts Junior before moving to FremantleMedia, where they worked as an Assistant Accountant and later as a Management Accountant in the Home Entertainment division. At FremantleMedia, they gained extensive experience in providing financial data for decision making and conducting financial forecasting and analysis.

After their tenure at FremantleMedia, Gulzar joined Imagination, where they held various roles. Gulzar worked as a Commercial Accountant, providing financial consultancy to project managers and overseeing the financial aspects of multi-million pound projects. Gulzar then served as a Systems and Management Accountant, performing system administration duties and contributing to the development of training and requirement documentation for a new global business system. Later, Gulzar became an Analytics Manager, leading a team in implementing a financial system and developing reporting capabilities.

Most recently, Gulzar joined Howard Kennedy LLP as the Finance Systems Manager and was later promoted to Head of Financial Systems. In this role, they managed a team responsible for supporting and maintaining internal financial systems. Gulzar also played a critical role in developing reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) using tools like SSRS and PowerBI to benefit the firm strategically.

Gulzar Ahmed obtained their bachelor's degree in Business and Information Management (Joint BA/BSc) from London Metropolitan University, where they studied from 1999 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their A Levels in Business Studies, English, and Maths at Enfield College from 1994 to 1996. Gulzar also attended Aylward School from 1989 to 1994, where they completed their GCSEs in Business Studies, Mathematics, English, Science, Integrated Humanities, Art, and French.

Additionally, in September 2015, Gulzar Ahmed obtained a certification in Agile Project Management Practitioner from APMG International.
