Key Responsibilities

• Work on engineering solutions and requirements for various projects, such as; retrofitting and upgrading electrical service, switchgear and distribution systems, fire alarms, interior alterations, etc. in existing buildings

• Execute on project plans, conduct site inspections, generate project deliverables, and work collaboratively to meet project schedule and budget

• Generate key project documentation and produce construction drawings in AutoCAD

• Anticipate and trouble-shoot project-specific problems and develop and implement solution in timely manner

• Enforce quality control with contractor during construction

• Communicate effectively and timely

• Engage in building positive client and peer relationships

• Effectively handle time to perform work duties in a dynamic environment

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of NYC electrical engineering and fire alarm experience. Familiarity with FDNY filing processes preferred.
