Key Responsibilities
Work on engineering solutions and requirements for various projects, such as; retrofitting and upgrading electrical service, switchgear and distribution systems, fire alarms, interior alterations, etc. in existing buildings
Execute on project plans, conduct site inspections, generate project deliverables, and work collaboratively to meet project schedule and budget
Generate key project documentation and produce construction drawings in AutoCAD
Anticipate and trouble-shoot project-specific problems and develop and implement solution in timely manner
Enforce quality control with contractor during construction
Communicate effectively and timely
Engage in building positive client and peer relationships
Effectively handle time to perform work duties in a dynamic environment
Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of NYC electrical engineering and fire alarm experience. Familiarity with FDNY filing processes preferred.
