Linda Jones

Linda Jones currently serves as the Assistant Dean for Administration and Finance at the Graduate School since March 2018, overseeing fiscal, HR, facilities, and various administrative matters, including the leasing of the interdisciplinary research building. With extensive experience at Howard University since January 1994, Linda has held multiple roles, including Special Assistant to the Associate Provost for Research and Graduate Studies, where responsibilities encompassed day-to-day operations and administrative tasks for the Graduate School and the newly constructed Howard University Interdisciplinary Research Building. Additionally, Linda has addressed student affairs in the College of Arts and Sciences, founded a nonprofit leadership certificate program, identified research opportunities matching faculty interests, and managed the summer school program. Linda holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Howard University, along with an M.S. in Procurement and Acquisition Management from Northrop University.
