Nana K O Gyesie

Nana K O Gyesie serves as the Director of the Academic Center for Excellence at Howard University since June 2022. Previously, Nana K O Gyesie held multiple positions at Baltimore City Community College from February 2003 to June 2022, including Director of the Student Success Center, Honors/Study Abroad Program Coordinator, Adjunct Professor, and Student Success Advisor. Earlier in career, Nana K O Gyesie worked as a Clinical Supervisor at PLC - Progressive Life Center from May 1997 to January 2003. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Language Literacy and Culture from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, a Master's in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Black Studies from SUNY New Paltz.
