Robin Whitfield has a vast amount of work experience in various finance and administration roles. They began their career at the National Apartment Association as a Director of Finance from 1991 to 1997. They then moved to the A. Philip Randolph Institute, where they served as the Director of Finance and Administration from 1998 to 2004. From 2004 to 2020, they worked at the University of Maryland Global Campus, starting as an Assistant to the AVP of Student Financial Services and eventually becoming the Vice President of Enterprise Solutions. During their time at the university, they were involved in multiple projects and provided executive level oversight for various departments. In 2020, they joined Marymount University as the CFO and later took on the role of Associate Vice President of Finance and Comptroller. Currently, they are working as the Associate Vice President for Finance at Howard University.
Robin Whitfield has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus. They also hold a Master's Degree in Management - Project Management from the same university.
