Andy Cox has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Andy is currently the Head of Energy Transition at Howden Group Holdings. Prior to this, they served as the Non-Executive Chair at Zoa, an energy tech start-up focused on changing the relationship between consumers and their energy company. Andy also held the position of Director, Chief Impact Officer at Forward Institute, a non-profit organization that promotes responsible leadership. Additionally, Andy Cox worked as a Non-Executive Director in the Energy & Infrastructure sector group at Browne Jacobson LLP and as a Senior Advisor at Storegga. Before these roles, they had a long tenure at KPMG UK where they held various leadership positions such as Partner, UK Chair of Energy & Natural Resources and Partner, UK Head of Energy & Natural Resources. Andy also led the UK Transaction Services business and served as Global Lead Partner for BG Group. Andy Cox started their career at KPMG as an Associate in Audit. Andy also gained secondee experience as an M&A Manager at Allied Domecq and took a gap year at Global Travel.

Andy Cox attended Kingston University from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting & Finance. In addition to their degree, they obtained the Fellow certification from the Forward Institute in November 2017 and became a Fellow of the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) in September 1994.
