Frances Coats

Frances Coats currently serves as Group General Counsel at Howden Group Holdings since August 2021, following a role as General Counsel Europe at bolttech from February to August 2021. Frances has extensive legal expertise, having held positions such as General Counsel at Augusta Ventures and Chief Counsel - Corporate & Commercial at The Ardonagh Group, where oversight of the non-contentious legal team was a key responsibility. Prior experience includes Group Legal Counsel at Towergate Insurance, Group Food Counsel at Tesco PLC, and a secondee role at Kraft Foods Middle East & Africa FZE. Frances began a legal career as a Senior Associate in Corporate at Clifford Chance LLP and held positions at Latham & Watkins and White & Case as a trainee solicitor. Frances holds a 1st Class Honours degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol.
