Florent Scarabin

Florent Scarabin serves as the Managing Director and Actuary DSA at Howden Re since July 2023, after a two-decade tenure at Guy Carpenter where similar responsibilities were held from February 2003 to June 2023. Expertise lies in reinsurance, financial modeling, capital management and optimization, corporate finance, strategic advisory, and Solvency II. Florent Scarabin's educational background includes a Diploma Program for Financial Analysts from the Stockholm School of Economics, an actuarial qualification from Stockholm University, a Master's in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from Université de Rennes I, an Erasmus experience in Mathematics at Lund University's Faculty of Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Université de Rennes I.
