Pamela Brayton

Pamela Brayton, CPA has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. Pamela began their career as a Staff Accountant at Stulmaker, Roach, Dorfman and Company, CPA's in 1987. Pamela then worked as an Internal Auditor and Budget and Cost Manager at Finch, Pruyn & Co from 1991 to 1996. During this time, they were responsible for financial analysis, information system projects, and managing production activities and inventories.

Pamela then joined Irving Tissue as a Plant Controller, where they implemented financial and internal control systems for a new $200 million facility. Pamela was also a member of the team that implemented the JD Edwards ERP system.

From 2000 to 2003, Pamela worked at Saratoga Business Services, where they built a successful consulting business providing accounting, tax, and payroll services to small businesses. Pamela grew the business from scratch, with over 50 clients and 3 employees, through cold calling, networking, and relationship building.

In 2003, they became the Executive VP-CFO at Manley's Mighty Marts, LLC, where they had executive level responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of a 25-location convenience store chain. Pamela was responsible for various functions including accounting, information systems, procurement, marketing, and human resources.

From 2009 to 2014, Pamela served as the Controller at Signature Brands, LLC, a $300 million consumer products manufacturer. In this role, they managed all accounting and customer service functions, IFRS and GAAP financial statement preparation, internal controls, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, budget/forecast preparation, and monitoring. Pamela also oversaw audit management, trade promotion management, inventory control, SAP integration, and reporting improvements. Pamela managed a staff of 13 during their tenure.

Most recently, Pamela has been working as the Vice President of Finance & Treasurer at F.M. Howell & Company since 2014.

Pamela Brayton, CPA, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Binghamton University School of Management. Pamela also holds another Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Binghamton University. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the College of St. Rose. Pamela has also achieved the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
