Aaron Nichols

Principal Engineer at Howmet Aerospace

Aaron Nichols has gained a diverse range of experience in engineering roles, starting as an Applications Engineering Intern at SKF in 2008. Aaron then moved on to a Quality Assurance Engineering Intern role before transitioning to the University at Buffalo, where they worked as a Teacher Assistant and later as a Research Assistant. After gaining academic experience, Aaron joined Alcoa Howmet Research Center as a Mechanical Design Engineer before ultimately joining Howmet Aerospace. At Howmet Aerospace, they have held the positions of Project Engineer and currently serves as a Principal Engineer.

Aaron Nichols completed their Bachelor of Science in Physics at the State University of New York at Fredonia from 2005 to 2008. Aaron then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University at Buffalo from 2008 to 2010, followed by a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from 2010 to 2012.
