Istvan Katus

Istvan Katus is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in financial management and leadership across various companies in the aerospace and finance sectors. Currently serving as Country Manager and Managing Director at Howmet Aerospace since April 2020, Istvan previously held similar leadership roles at Arconic and Alcoa, specializing in wheel products for the EMEA region. With a strong background in financial accounting and compliance, Istvan has overseen statutory and tax reporting, as well as financial processes across Europe. Earlier career highlights include positions at Raiffeisen Securities and Bank Austria Creditanstalt S.A., where Istvan excelled in analyzing investment portfolios and providing strategic recommendations. Istvan holds an MSc in Economics and Law from the University of Pécs and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
