Istvan Szanyi

Istvan Szanyi is an experienced executive in the agriculture industry, currently serving as the Country Manager/Managing Director at KWS Group since November 2020. Prior experience includes multiple leadership roles at Syngenta, where Istvan advanced through positions such as Sales Effectiveness Lead EAME - Seeds and Seeds Lead Central Southern Europe from May 2016 to October 2020. Istvan also held the position of Head of Seed Division at Cereal Research Non-Profit Ltd. for a brief period in early 2016 and spent nearly 18 years at Monsanto Company in various capacities, including Business Lead and General Manager in Hungary. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Horticulture from Corvinus University of Budapest and a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Janus Pannonius University of Pécs.
