Iurie Chetraru

Iurie Chetraru has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Iurie is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Howsy since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at International Workplace Law as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead from 2014 to 2022, where they were responsible for architecting cloud-based multitenant SaaS and developing microservices with Laminas Mezzio (REST API's), as well as UI development with Vue.

Iurie has also worked as a Freelance Backend Developer at Mobas in 2014, and as a Freelance Web Developer at ShadeArt Limited and SHADEMAKERS LIMITED in 2013. In these roles, they handled various responsibilities such as web development and maintenance, and worked on projects involving cloud-based applications and MVC Zend Framework 2.

Iurie Chetraru completed their education from 1990 to 1994 at Colegiul National de Informatica, Piatra Neamt. Iurie obtained a degree in Junior Programmer Analyst with a focus on Software and Systems Engineering. From 1994 to 1998, they attended Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti, where they pursued studies in International Relations. In February 2018, Iurie Chetraru obtained a certification called M101P: MongoDB for Developers from MongoDB.
