Flavio Longato

Flavio Longato is a seasoned professional in the ophthalmic industry with extensive experience in business development, sales, and marketing. Currently serving as the GDS Business Development Director EMEA at HOYA Surgical Optics since February 2018, Flavio has previously held key roles including Ophthalmology Business Director EMEA at Lumenis and Director of Marketing & Sales at SIFI Diagnostic SPA. Flavio's career began at TOMEY Corporation as a Senior Product Manager, followed by positions at Tecno Instruments, Nidek, and Compagnia Italiana Oftalmologica, where responsibilities included commercial strategy and market expansion. Flavio holds an Optician and Optometrist Degree from Università Ca'​ Foscari Venezia and additional educational qualifications from Istituto "Buonarroti" and Liceo Classico "Filippin".
