Akanksha Pai

Akanksha Pai is currently a Research Intern at Samsung India, contributing to the Samsung Prism project since January 2023. In parallel, Akanksha is a DESIS Ascend Educare Fellow at The D. E. Shaw Group, being one of 40 mentees selected for the JuniHers cohort from across India. Akanksha holds several leadership roles within various organizations, including Secretary and Core Team Member at Coding Club RVCE and Secretary at ACCELERATE RVCE. Akanksha has also interned at IEEE-RVCE, focusing on developing deep learning models for railway track fault detection, and was a mentee in Microsoft's Engage 2022 program, where a web application for student attendance via face recognition was designed. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science at RV College Of Engineering, Akanksha has a solid educational foundation with earlier schooling in both RV PU College and Innisfree House School.
