Vice President Operations at HPL Apollo

Eduardo Vial has extensive experience in the logistics and air cargo industry. Eduardo started their career as a Manager of Commercial Planning at LATAM Airlines in 1994, where they managed freighter aircraft operations and coordinated air cargo charters. In 1997, they joined Florida West International Airways as the Director of GSA Sales, where they increased off-line cargo sales by expanding operations to additional states in the US.

In 1999, Eduardo returned to LATAM Airlines and held various leadership positions in their Air Cargo Division. Eduardo served as the Director of Cargo Handling Operations, overseeing inbound airfreight operations at Miami International Airport and managing cargo processing and warehousing. Eduardo then became the Director of Air Cargo Systems and Processes, responsible for implementing efficient systems and processes.

From 2008 to 2012, Eduardo was the Director of Air Cargo Operations at LATAM Airlines, where they managed airfreight handling operations at various international airports through third-party logistics partners.

In 2012, Eduardo took on the role of Director of Air Cargo Infrastructure Projects (Americas) at LATAM Airlines, leading the infrastructure development for the merger of LAN Airlines and TAM Airlines. Eduardo designed and constructed new air cargo handling terminals and implemented state-of-the-art warehousing and processing systems.

In 2013, Eduardo joined Colour Republic LLC as the Director of Operations & Logistics. In this role, they were responsible for logistics operations in the Americas region, ensuring timely deliveries of perishable products to supermarkets' distribution centers nationwide.

Most recently, Eduardo has become the Vice President of Operations at HPL Apollo, a position they assumed in 2023.

Eduardo Vial attended Universidad de Chile from 1990 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Business/Managerial Economics.
