Sean Gilrain

Sean Gilrain has extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as an Executive Director and previously as a Vice President at HPS Investment Partners, LLC since May 2021. Prior to this role, Sean held various positions at The Carlyle Group from June 2016 to May 2021, including Vice President, Senior Associate, Associate, and Analyst. Earlier experience includes a position as an Analyst at BDCA Adviser, LLC, where the company managed approximately $2.5 billion in assets under management. Sean holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business, earned in 2015, and a College Preparatory Diploma with Honors from Centennial High School, completed in 2011.
