Chris Harrington has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Chris started their career as a Technical Trainee at Saint Paul Regional Water Services in 1996. Chris then worked as an Environmental Technician I at Remediation Technologies, Inc. from 1997 to 1998. Chris continued working at the same company as a Senior Environmental Technician from 1999 to 2000. In 1997, they also worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota concurrently with their role at Remediation Technologies, Inc. Chris then joined the Peace Corps in 2001 as a Water and Sanitation Engineer and served until 2003. After that, they worked at The Brearley School as a Teacher of Physical Education & Science from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota from 2007 to 2009. Finally, they joined HR Green, Inc. in 2009 and holds the position of Project & Group Manager / Associate.

Chris Harrington attended the University of Minnesota from 1992 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. During their undergraduate years, they also participated in gymnastics and achieved the title of Big Ten Champion. Following their bachelor's degree, Chris pursued further education at the University of Minnesota and completed their Master's of Science in Civil Engineering from 1998 to 2008.
