Eric Gay has a diverse range of work experience in the field of civil engineering. Eric started their career as a Technical Assistant at the Harris County Flood Control District, where they were responsible for documenting flood events and predicting future ones. Eric then worked as a Civil Engineering Intern at Parsons Brinckerhoff in the USA, where they assisted on various projects, including the reconstruction of the 290 Highway system.

Eric later joined HNTB as a Civil Engineering Intern, where they organized project data and processed detailed drawings and documentation. Eric then returned to Parsons Brinckerhoff in the USA as a Civil Engineering Intern, contributing to major civil design and Txdot-funded projects across Texas.

Currently, Eric is employed at HR Green, Inc. as a Construction Engineer specializing in transportation engineering. Their responsibilities include roadway design, urban street rehabilitation improvements, and traffic control plan analysis. Eric has also been involved in Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) projects related to environmental protection.
