Sean Murphy P.e.

Sean Murphy, P.E. has extensive work experience in the civil engineering field. Sean started their career at N.J. Funk Contracting, Inc., a family excavation firm, where they worked as a Principal for over two decades. During this time, they managed various construction projects such as homes, roads, underground utilities, demolition, and material/equipment hauling. In 2006, they joined HR Green, Inc. as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager. Sean then worked briefly at Mackie Consultants, LLC as a Civil Engineer before joining Swanson Flo-Systems Co. as a Territory Salesperson in 2012. Sean represented several valve and engineered systems companies in the Greater Chicago area. Additionally, they pursued their passion as a Commercial Balloon Pilot and Instructor at Windy City Balloonport from 1990 to 1993.

Sean Murphy, P.E. has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago. Sean also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Marketing from Northern Illinois University. Prior to their higher education, Sean attended Barrington High School.
