Sonal Shah has extensive experience in labor and employment law. Sonal began their career as a Labor and Employment Attorney at Locke Lord LLP, where they provided counsel on various aspects of labor and employment law, researched and drafted legal memoranda, and reviewed employment policies and handbooks. Sonal then joined Burke Warren MacKay & Serritella as a Labor and Employment Attorney, where they advised and counseled employers on compliance with labor and employment laws and represented clients in investigations and mediations with administrative agencies. Sonal then transitioned to HR Source, where they served as a Labor and Employment Counsel and later as the Assistant Director of Employment Law Services. In these roles, they continued to provide legal guidance and representation to clients on various labor and employment law matters, including compliance with federal and state regulations, harassment and discrimination claims, and negotiations of employment agreements.
Sonal Shah completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Following this, they pursued their legal education at the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law from 2003 to 2006, earning a J.D. degree with a focus in Law.
