Nina Raccah is a Principal at HR&A Advisors, where since 2019, the focus has been on integrating equity into governance practices for local governments, particularly in response to challenges posed by Covid-19 and social movements. Prior to HR&A, Nina Raccah served as a Senior Managing Consultant at The PFM Group from 2014 to 2018, aiding municipal leaders in long-range financial planning and budget strategies, and was recognized as a finalist for the 2015 Innovations in American Government award for work on the Strong Cities, Strong Communities initiative. Earlier experience includes roles at BAE Urban Economics, Downtown Berkeley Association, the Center for Community Innovation at UC Berkeley, the US Department of Health & Human Services, and the National Immigrant Justice Center. Educational qualifications comprise a Master's in City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, and an A.B. in Public Policy Studies and Economics from the University of Chicago, supplemented by a Trilingual International Baccalaureate from the International School of Geneva.
