Sofia Ferreira has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, currently serving as Country Lead Iberia & Brazil Rare Diseases at HRA Pharma since March 2019. Previous roles include interim Head of Europe at HRA Pharma Rare Diseases and Parliamentary Assessor at Assembleia da República. Ferreira has held positions at Orphan Europe as an Orphan Drug Specialist, and as a Senior Product Manager at bene farmacêutica and Eli Lilly. Additional experience includes a Blue Book Trainee role at the European Commission, Project Manager at Horsepet Portugal, and National Sales Manager at Actelion. Ferreira's educational background includes degrees in Essentials of Pharmaceutical Product Management from the International Management Institute in Brussels and Marketing Management from IPAM, alongside a degree from the University of Lisbon.
