Megan Hayes

Megan Hayes, aPHR, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Megan currently serves as the Director of Corporate Sponsorships at HRCI since August 2021. Prior to this, Megan worked at Gray Television as the Regional Sales Manager for Healthcare, from an unspecified period until August 2021. From 2012 to 2016, they held multiple roles at the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, including Public Information Director and Project Manager for various health initiatives. Megan also gained experience in advertising, marketing, and strategy at Chernoff Newman from 2011 to 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked at The State Media Company as an Advertising Account Executive and at The News-Press Media Group as an Advertising Account Executive specializing in medical and non-profit accounts. Megan also has experience in media coordination and production as a Traffic Coordinator/Sales Assistant at WFTX Fox 4 News and as an Associate Producer/Writer at WSYX Channel 6/WTTE -28 Columbus, Ohio. Megan began their career as an Account Coordinator at Ron Foth Advertising.

Megan Hayes, aPHR, graduated from Magnificat High School in 1996 with a High School Diploma in College Prep. Megan then attended The Ohio State University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism and Political Science. Megan Hayes also holds an Associate Professional in Human Resources® (aPHR®) certification, obtained from HRCI in April 2023.
