Jan-Christian Werner

Jan-Christian Werner has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Jan-Christian started their career at BP as a Trading Analyst and Executive Master Program participant. Jan-Christian then moved on to work in investment banking and private equity at WestLB. Subsequently, they joined Deloitte and gained expertise in M&A Transaction Services. Jan-Christian later held positions at Brenntag Group as the Head of Controlling & Reporting, EMEA and Corporate M&A. Werner then worked at Orion Engineered Carbons as Vice President & Head of Finance & Controlling, EMEA. Jan-Christian further gained experience as the Acting CFO of Aves One AG and Managing Director of BSI Logistics GmbH. Werner's most recent positions include serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Balta Group and HRS Group.

Jan-Christian Werner completed their Master's degree in Controlling and Operations Research (Dipl. Kfm.) from Nordakademie, Elmshorn between 1995 and 2000. Jan-Christian also obtained a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) between 2005 and 2008.
