Luis Campos, CPA, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience in accounting and finance. Luis is currently serving as the Chief Accounting Officer at HRS (Hospitality & Retail Systems) since February 2019. Before that, they worked at Robert Half Management Resources as a Senior Financial Accounting & Reporting Consultant, where they held various roles such as Financial Reporting and Consolidation Manager for Phoenix Tower and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for Belzona.
Prior to their role at Robert Half, Luis worked as an Accounting Manager at Brasil Telecom from November 2006 to February 2012. Luis'sresponsibilities included reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts, preparing consolidated financial statements, conducting internal control assessments, and leading the month-end closing process.
Before joining Brasil Telecom, Luis worked at Baker Hughes, a GE company as a Financial Planning and Reporting Manager from July 2000 to June 2006. Luis was responsible for preparing monthly financial reporting, annual and quarterly financial plans, and monthly chargeouts. Luis also played a key role in reorganizing and optimizing financial planning and reporting assignments.
Luis also has experience working as a Controller at Monsanto Company from January 1995 to June 2000, overseeing accounting personnel and coordinating the preparation of internal and external financial statements. Luis coordinated activities with external auditors as well.
Earlier in their career, Luis worked at Socimer Finance as a Controller from October 1991 to December 1994. Luis also gained experience as a Supervising Senior Auditor at Deloitte from August 1990 to September 1991 and as a Senior Auditor at KPMG from August 1986 to July 1990.
Luis Campos, CPA, MBA, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidad 'Santa María' in the years 1981 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance, General, from the same university, during the period 1992 to 1994.
Additionally, Luis Campos acquired the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Florida Board of Accountancy in July 2019.
