Asif Khan currently serves as the Assistant Principal at HRUC (Harrow, Richmond & Uxbridge Colleges) since August 2022 and has held the position of County Councillor for North Watford with Hertfordshire County Council since May 2017. Khan is an active member of the Herts County Council Diversity and Inclusion Group. In addition, Khan has been a Borough Councillor for Watford since May 2011, chairing the Finance Scrutiny Committee and the Watford Community Scrutiny Group. Khan has extensive experience in educational leadership, having held various roles including Head of School for Engineering, Technology and Innovation at Uxbridge College and Head of School - Engineering & Science at the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London. Khan began the career as an IT Technical Consultant at Hilton Worldwide and has also served as a lecturer in IT and Computing. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicinal and Environmental Chemistry from Brunel University London and a PGCE in Adult and Continuing Education from the University of Greenwich.
