Ivan Zilic is a senior advisor and senior research economist at the Croatian National Bank since November 2022. Prior to this role, Zilic was a research associate at The Institute of Economics, Zagreb from September 2011 to November 2022, where responsibilities included organizing research seminars and reading groups, as well as serving as a research assistant. Zilic also worked as a research officer at The London School of Economics and Political Science from September 2018 to September 2019, focusing on economic policies in the Western Balkans. Additionally, Zilic held lecturer positions at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management and at the Student Econometric Workshops at The Institute of Economics, Zagreb from 2015 to 2018, teaching various econometric methods. Zilic holds a PhD in Economics from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz (2014-2017), a master's degree in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2012-2014), and a master's degree in Economics from the University of Zagreb (2005-2010).
