Chirag Bhatt

Chirag Bhatt has a diverse work experience in the field of food safety and regulatory compliance. Chirag started their career in 1980 as a Program Manager for the City of Houston, where they managed a large staff and conducted regulatory inspections at numerous food service establishments. After working for the city for almost three decades, they transitioned to a role as VP of Food Safety Client Consulting and EH Services at Digital Health Department (Garrison Enterprises, Inc.), where they led the development and implementation of a software application for food safety and environmental inspections.

In 2012, Chirag joined Bloomin' Brands, Inc. as the Manager of Global Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance. During their time with the company, they developed and implemented policies and procedures to improve food safety and quality processes, while also ensuring compliance with regulations.

Chirag has also worked as a Director of Quality Assurance at Sysco and as a Director of Food Safety and QA at Buc-ee's, Ltd. In 2016, they started their own business, CHB Food Safety Consulting, where they provided food safety and regulatory compliance services to various clients. Chirag then joined the Food Safety Summit as a member of the Education Advisory Board in 2011.

Currently, Chirag is the Director of Regulatory Affairs (Env. Health) at HS GovTech Solutions Inc. Chirag'sextensive experience and expertise in the food safety industry make him a valuable asset in ensuring compliance and safety in this field.

Chirag Bhatt holds a BSc degree in Biology and Chemistry from MS University. Chirag also has additional certifications in Preventive Controls for Human Food from FSPCA and Professional Sanitarian (RS) from the State of Texas. Chirag also has a certification in SQF 2000 Implementation.
