Alka Gupta

Alka Gupta has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Alka began their career as a Sr Data Analyst at AbsolutData Research & Analytics in 2006, where they managed a team and implemented mentoring programs. Alka then moved on to work as a Data Solution Developer at dunnhumby, where they led ETL solutions and mentored employees. Alka also worked as a SAS Consultant at SAS Singapore, Standard Chartered Bank, and ActiKnow Consulting, where they developed reports, modified scripts, and delivered risk management solutions. Alka gained managerial experience as an Assistant Manager at Barclays Shared Services and later took on the role of Manager - Finance Systems at HSBC HDPI, where they collaborated with stakeholders and mitigated risks during system migration. Alka then transitioned to RBS, where they held positions as a Senior Associate and Associate Vice President. Alka'scurrent role is as a Vice President at HSBC, where they focus on people management and hiring while providing guidance and mentorship to their team. Throughout their career, Alka has demonstrated expertise in project management, cloud implementation, and end-to-end support.

Alka Gupta obtained a B.Tech degree in Information Technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprasha University from 2001 to 2005. Alka has also obtained additional certifications including Cloud Digital Leader from Google Cloud in December 2022, Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate Certification from Udemy in 2021, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in April 2021, Python from the University of Michigan in 2021, and Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2022.
