Iris Chan

Iris Chan has gained extensive experience in the financial industry throughout their career. Starting in 1998, they held various positions in Information Technology within Retail Banking and Investment Banking. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at Credit Suisse as a Business Manager in the Private Banking COO Office and also served as a Business Analyst in Investment Banking. Following that, they joined BNP Paribas as a Business Manager in Private Banking from 2015 to 2018, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Most recently, they joined HSBC in 2019 as Head of Brokerage Business Intelligence and Team Lead in Business Compliance, responsible for defining and executing brokerage and trading strategies, monitoring key performance, and maintaining market intelligence. Additionally, in their role at Hang Seng Bank, they led a team to ensure compliance and coordinate reviews and audits.

Iris Chan has a Master of Commerce in Applied Finance from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Systems Engineering and Engineering Management from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
