Nilesh Mhatre

Nilesh Mhatre is the current Chief Information Officer at HSBC India. Nilesh has over two decades of experience in the IT field, having previously served as Senior IT Manager at Bank Muscat and IT Manager at Sandoz International.

Mhatre's experience includes responsibility for extending and supporting core systems, designing technical security manuals and guidelines, and coordinating with vendors to maintain network security. Nilesh has also implemented internet banking solutions using latest security standards, and has experience managing Microsoft Exchange and Windows NT applications.

In their current role as CIO, Mhatre is responsible for leading HSBC India's information technology strategy and initiatives. Under their guidance, the bank has been able to successfully implement a number of cutting-edge technological solutions that have improved efficiency and productivity across the organization.

Nilesh Mhatre has a Bachelor Degree of Commerce from Lala Lajpat Rai College of Commerce and a degree in Information Technology from Shardashram Vidya Mandir.
