Jen Whelan

Jen Whelan is a seasoned professional in Global Funds Banking with extensive experience in Private Equity and Venture Capital. Currently serving as Managing Director at HSBC Innovation Banking since September 2022, Jen leads Proposition & Portfolio Management for Strategic Fund Solutions, having previously held the role of Director in the same field. Prior to HSBC, Jen spent over eight years at Silicon Valley Bank, progressing from Senior Associate to Senior Vice President in Global Funds Banking. Earlier career experience includes serving as Corporate Relationship Assistant Manager at ANZ. Jen holds a Financial Markets: Trading & Analysis qualification from the London School of Business and Finance and a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Queensland.
